To balance the its monochromatic state, Villa Upama needed a touch of color. Muhammad Reggie Aquara provided the solution by playing with color composition of oil paint on a panel of wood. He then took another panel of wood, sandwiching both panels’ surface, creating a unique texture. The end result was the two abstract wood panels, symmetrical but not identical.
